So I typically eat out about 5 nights, a week being that I live alone and generally have no groceries in my fridge. This is something that has only started within the last year as prior I would cook dinner for my roomates.
In an effort to eat a bit more healthy and save some money for fun things like trips to Tahiti
I have began eating home cooked meals more frequently. This meant that Yesterday and today eating this soup that I first had at Edward Jamele’s place.
It’s super easy to make, healthy and takes not even an hour from start to finish.
Ingredients:
What to do:
Dump the chicken stock into the pot on low with Garlic, Salt and Pepper. Fill will about 3-4 cups of water as well. Let this cook for about 15 minutes.
Shred the chicken and at it to the pot. I put the skin in for a bit more flavor. Let this simmer for about 15 more minutes.
Lastly put the bag of frozen vegatables in the pot. leaving the temperature at low to medium for another 10 timinutes.
The meal is now ready to be eaten if you are hungry and don’t worry about full flavor of the soup. This is my general method as I am impatient. If you have a bit more time just let this cook till your ready to eat. The longer you wait the better it will taste.
I thought I would share this recipe as its easy to make even if you are busy.
I wonder how long they can keep this up.
